I am an independent cabinet maker located in the Finger Lakes region of New York state where I began a remodeling business in 1985. Over the next several years this evolved into a predominantly carpentry business and for several years I worked with a local cabinetmaker where I gained important knowledge of cabinetry building and design.

After spending a lifetime in upper New York state, where the winters had become less than exciting anymore, my wife
and I took a winter vacation in the sunshine state and the rest is history. From that time on
I have spent my winters in the panhandle region where I quickly realized that the variety of skills I had accumulated
over my career were in high demand. What had begun as a two week vacation quickly morphed into a month, then
three months, and now I happily spend a full six months applying my skills on Cape San Blas. In 2006/2007 I also
refurbished a home in the historic district of Apalachicola.
Unfortunately my wife Bonnie and I must carry on a long distance partnership until she retires from Kodak when we will be able to live and work together for the whole year. In the meantime she is able to make the migration here for a visit every month at which times she is able to meet my clients and enter into the friendships I have formed.
Needless to say, I consider myself very lucky to be able to find satisfying and valued work in one of the most beautiful and comfortable regions of the country.
